Komchi is a native tuber. Tubers are one of the most ancient edible vegetables. It's super versatile in cooking and full of nutrients. It's a great source of energy (high starch), yet has a lower glycemic index compared with potatoes. They contain vitamins B1 and C. 


To prepare, scrape off the skin and cook it as you would potato into a sabzi, grill komchi, komchi fries, komchi bharta... are just a few ideas.   


Note: Each root is about 2-5 kilos. We will cut it to a kilo and send you. Once cut, it doesn't have a long shelf life (it dries up) so do consume within a couple days of receiving.
