Farmers Tree ("we" and "us") is the operator of (https://vrindavanfarm.com)("Website") and managing company for Vrindavan Farm. By placing an order through this Website you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.
Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfill the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the backordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.
2. Shipping Costs
We use a 3rd party courier service for last mile shipping, costs are thus calculated during checkout based on the customer's address approximating the 3rd parties shipping costs. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.
Given the nature of fresh produce and products, Farmers Tree cannot take back returns due to change of mind. However, if there are any issues that resulted in you not receiving full quality of our product - for example, damage during transit (see #6 and #9 below), we will happily replace this product with our subsequent delivery to you. Replacement and shipping will be born by Farmers Tree.
4. Delivery Terms
4.1 Transit time within City
For Mumbai customers, once orders have left the farm, it will arrive to you in under 8 hours.
4.2 Transit time within India
For pan-India customers, we only supply mangoes and products with a long shelf life, for example, herbal teas, superfood powders. We do not ship fresh produce besides mangoes. Shipment is via Mumbai-based courier services. Transit time will depend on location of the receiving party, but is typically between 2-5 days.
4.3 Transit time Internationally
We do NOT ship internationally.
4.4 Dispatch Schedule
Orders dispatched to the city depend on season and item type, as follows:
(i) Fresh produce (except mango) and products (herbal tea, jams, powders) are dispatched to the city once per week during season.
(ii) Mango is dispatched to the city 3 times per week.
(iii) Some seasons require us to cease regular dispatch, for example, rice planting. During this time, orders received are fulfilled within 5-7 working days. Clients are informed of the delivery schedule as orders are received.
4.4 Change Of Delivery Address
For change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.
4.5 P.O. Box Shipping
Farmers Tree will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer couriers services to these locations.
4.6 Items Out Of Stock
If an item is out of stock, we will dispatch the in-stock items immediately and send the remaining items once they return to stock.
4.7 Delivery Time Exceeded
If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.
5. Tracking Notifications
Upon dispatch, customers are intimated via email of the approximate time of delivery. Included is the phone number of our logistics manager who coordinates with the logistics partner. Customers who have not received their order within the estimated delivery schedule are asked to contact our logistics manager immediately so that appropriate steps can be taking in tracking the order.
6. Parcels Damaged In Transit
If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact our customer service with next steps.
7. Duties & Taxes
Farmers Tree is below the threshold for GST and thus no additional taxes are applied to your goods. We do not export or import and thus no international duties and taxes are applied to your goods. The price paid by customer during checkout is final.
If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.
Farmers Tree insures parcels for loss and damage up to the value of your original order with the 3rd party courier provider. For parcels lost or damaged, Farmers Tree will process a replacement to customer immediately and deliver your order with it's subsequent delivery schedule. Farmers Tree will claim the loss or damage from the courier provider.
