Rajapuri
Rajapuri earned the nickname Juicy Jumbo the moment Mother tasted its ripe, overflowing burst of flavour. Massive in size and unapologetically abundant, it is a mango that asks to be eaten with both hands and no restraint.
Traditionally, Rajapuri was valued more as an achar mango than a table fruit. Its large size made it ideal for pickling, but so did its nature — once harvested, it ripens quickly and delicately, making transport difficult.
As always, we choose to bring you the fruit at it's best. Which means walking the fine line between harvest, ripening, and sending it out at just the right moment.
So these arrive the way we believe Rajapuri should be experienced: ripe, fragrant, juice-filled, sweet, tangy, and impossible to eat neatly.
A single box fits 6 Rajas :)
Shipping & Collection
Mangoes travel from the farm to Bombay twice each week through the season.
You will receive a message once your box has left the farm.
Boxes may either be collected from Marine Drive or delivered to your doorstep through a local courier partner. Delivery charges apply.
A Few Notes for the Season
The mangoes within each box may ripen at slightly different times.
Ripeness is best understood through fragrance and softness rather than skin colour. Some fruit may remain green even when fully ready to eat.
Once your box arrives, we recommend laying the mangoes out gently on a tray to allow them to breathe and ripen gradually.
Refrigeration is best avoided until the fruit has fully ripened.
As with most naturally grown fruit, the mangoes may carry marks, variations in shape, freckles, or uneven colouring — traces of season, weather, and life in the orchard.
